Maison Mouton Cadet has unveiled its new gift box created in collaboration with Boheng 55, the historic building in Shanghai that brings together Chinese and Western culture. Boheng 55 is also home to Ji Pin Court, the two Michelin star Cantonese restaurant that makes the traditional Zongzi which accompany the bottle in the gift box.
The collaboration honours the Dragon Boat Festival, the traditional Chinese holiday that is celebrated at the beginning of summer on the 5th day of the 5th lunar month.
The gift box retraces the history of this festival, while also revealing the story of the encounter between Bordeaux and Chinese culture.
The engravings and touches of watercolour symbolize Chinese culture. While the use of the colour green across the whole box expresses the know-how of this exceptional wine, by symbolizing the leaves of the grape vines. They are powerful identity elements, and they mark this new and successful activation!
A celebration embodied by the Identity Packaging.
