HENNESSY X.O by
Hennessy X.O. was born in 1870 from the meeting of two men: Maurice Hennessy, fourth generation member of the Hennessy family, and Emile Fillioux, third-generation Cellar Master. Sharing the same taste for ancient eaux-de-vie, they elaborated an original blend of rich and complex architecture.

An icon seen through the vision of a legend
As is often the case with Franck Gehry, movement becomes the starting point of the collaboration. His usually bendy floors, tilted walls and gravity-defying lines rapidly find an echo in the House’s icon. With the same commitment and curiosity he does everything, Franck Gehry heartily participates in writing Hennessy X.O’s myth.
For this very special collaboration, we humbly transform ourselves into craft masters, working at the service of these two legendary icons. We do so through the conception of the tangible and sensorial: the packaging identity.
A SENSORIAL EXPERIENCE
The result is an exclusive piece of art like no other. The iconic Hennessy X.O. decanter is wrapped in a folded bronze case covered in 24-carat gold. The bottle rests on a glass sculpture, which sublimates the tasting rituals.
To fully experience this extraordinary collaboration, our Retail teams work on the Travel Retail spaces and experiences. They develop a one-of-a-kind consumer journey, dedicated both to the artist and his muse. In one part of the exhibition space, visitors can stroll through the inspirations of Franck Gehry, as though they were in a museum. The immersion then continues on with a more sensorial experience magnifying the tasting of this exceptional cognac born 150 years ago.
Who better than renowned architect and designer Franck Gehry to celebrate Hennessy X.O’s 150th anniversary?
