How to give a French brand legitimacy for Chinese customers.
Omey, a Chinese brand of dermo-cosmetics, wanted to set up in Paris and establish a French identity. Using the concept of an “Urban Apothecary”, it reinterpreted the design style of an old-fashioned pharmacy, adding a zest of vintage modernity. So there are laboratory benches and apothecary jars in a decor of lightweight modular furniture standing on blue cement tiling, a nod to the colours of the brand.
